What luggage can you take on a TUI Airways flight?
Start with the allowance on your booking confirmation. For TUI Airways, the published hand-luggage guidance shows one main bag up to 55 × 40 × 20 cm and 10 kg, plus one smaller item up to 40 × 30 × 20 cm that fits under the seat in front. Check the latest TUI guidance and the airline operating your particular flight before you travel.
Measure and weigh your cabin bags
Compare the full external dimensions of your main bag, including wheels and handles, with the 55 × 40 × 20 cm limit. Weigh it after packing to check the 10 kg limit. Your additional smaller item must fit both the 40 × 30 × 20 cm limit and under the seat. A suitcase described as “20-inch” is not automatically suitable: its depth may exceed 20 cm.
What about checked luggage?
TUI's published page describes different checked-luggage allowances depending on the holiday or fare; it shows 20 kg per person for some bookings and 25 kg for others. Do not assume either allowance applies to your trip. Check your booking confirmation for the checked-luggage allowance, whether it is included, and any relevant size limits before choosing and packing a case.
Two hold-luggage cases to consider
These are checked-luggage options, not cabin bags. Both product links below currently lead to active products at Neil's Luggage Store. Neither is an airline-approved recommendation or a guarantee that the case will be accepted on a particular booking.
British Traveller K2393L 24-inch case
The K2393L 24-inch hard-shell suitcase is listed as 67 × 46 × 27 cm externally and 3.0 kg empty. If your booking includes checked luggage, compare its dimensions and packed weight with that allowance.
British Traveller K2393L 28-inch case
The K2393L 28-inch hard-shell suitcase is listed as 76 × 51 × 30 cm externally and 4.2 kg empty. Check your booking's checked-bag size and weight rules before choosing the larger case.
Before you travel
- Check the airline shown on your booking and its current baggage guidance.
- Measure the full outside of each bag, including wheels, handles and other protruding features.
- Weigh each bag after packing, not just when empty.
- Check separately whether your booking includes checked luggage and what allowance applies.
